Families’ School Choice Decisions

This data point provides an overview of the percentages of students who were enrolled in four different types of schools: public assigned schools, public chosen schools, private religious schools, and private nonreligious schools. Next, among students whose families considered more than one school for them, this publication provides the percentages of students whose parents reported selected reasons as being “very important” when choosing a school.
