New Statistical Profiles Added to A Retrospective Look at U.S. Education Statistics

Ten new “statistical profiles” have been added to this commemorative guide, which provides an overview of the history and use of education statistics that have been collected and reported by the federal education statistics agency (now NCES) since 1868. Each “statistical profile” in this report offers an in-depth look at what a statistic measures, how it has been collected over the years, and what the data reveal about the statistic.
